S. Korean delegation's visit part of healthcare overhaul
KUWAIT, Aug 22 (KUNA) -- The visit of a South Korean contingent of physicians represents a plan by Kuwait's ministry of health (MoH) to improve healthcare services in the country, the ministry said on Tuesday.
Speaking to the press after his meeting with a visiting South Korean delegation, the ministry of health's assistant undersecretary for technical affairs Dr. Waleed Al-Falah said that Kuwait's healthcare system stands to gain from visits by foreign doctors.
He added that the ministry has begun initiating a healthcare e-system to replace antiquated paper documents, as such systems typically provide less margin for error and are far more reliable. (end)
