Over 52,000 Iranian in Saudi Arabia for Hajj - official

TEHRAN, Aug 16 (KUNA) -- Some 52,000 Iranian pilgrims, out of the total number of 86,300, have so far arrived in Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj rituals, Iranian official affirmed Wednesday.
Nearly 10,000 pilgrims are to settle in Medina, while 42,500 others will stay in the holy city of Makkah, Hamid Mohammadi, Head of Iranian Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, said in a statement, according to FARS News Agency.
Entry visas were granted to most Iranian pilgrims for this year's Hajj season without any delay, Mohammadi said, noting that the pilgrims have expressed their satisfaction with the level of services provided by Hajj missions. (end) fz.ma
