TEHRAN, June 26 (KUNA) -- Iranian security forces have dismantled an alleged "terror cell" and "seized a huge cache of weapons", an Iranian official said on Monday.
Speaking to the press, Iranian Minister of Intelligence Mahmoud Alavi said that "elements linked to terrorist groups, with a large number of weapons in their possession, have been rounded up."
"We will divulge the details of this security operation, which was carried out on Sunday, in due time," he added.
On June 7th, near-simultaneous attacks on the Iranian parliament and Khomeini shrine, claimed by the So-called Islamic State (IS), killed 17 people and wounded more than 50 others. (end)
