Explosion in Anbar, Iraq, leads to death of 9 people

BAGHDAD, June 23 (KUNA) -- Nine individuals were killed due to a suicide bombing in Anbar province, east of Iraq, said a security source Friday.
The source told KUNA that a suicide bomber detonated his charge in Anbar province's Al-Baghdadi town. The attack resulted also in the injury of 10 people.
Meanwhile, the source affirmed that the security forces managed to prevent three suicide bombers from carrying out a similar attack in the town.
The terrorists were tracked down and they ended up detonating their charges, killing themselves in the process, said the security source. (end) ahh.gta
