One soldier killed, three wounded in missile attack in E. Turkey

ISTANBUL, June 20 (KUNA) -- At least one soldier was killed and six others injured in a missile attack in eastern Turkey, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement on Tuesday.
Rocket launchers and long-barreled weapons were used to attack a military convoy that was on the Cukurca-Van Highway in eastern Turkey, the statement added.
The Turkish General Staff also announced that three Turkish security officers were injured in clashes with members of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in the southeastern city of Sirnak. (end) ta.haq
