KUWAIT, June 5 (KUNA) -- Minimum wage for workers in the private and oil sectors is KD 75 per month (USD 245), the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor has decided.
The decision by Hind Al-Sebeeh, also Minister of State for Economic Affairs, is also applicable to work contracts and permits, according to a ministry statement issued on Monday.
Meanwhile, official spokesman of the Kuwaiti workers authority Aseel Al-Mazyad declared proclaiming the union for the workers in the private sector. (end) mz.rk
