US sends condolences to families affected by Manchester attack

WASHINGTON, May 23 (KUNA) -- The US gave condolences to the families of those who lost loved ones and to those injured in the attack in Manchester that killed 22 people.
"While it is too early to determine those responsible for this atrocity, we are working closely with the British government and supporting their efforts to investigate and respond to this attack," said Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in a statement Tuesday.
Last night after the attack, the US Department of Homeland Security announced that it is working on determining the cause of the bombing. (end) ak.mt
