BAGHDAD, May 22 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abadi met Monday with visiting Saudi Oil Minister Khaled Al-Faleh and discussed cooperation to improving oil prices within framework of OPEC.
Abadi and Al-Faleh discussed bilateral cooperation in sectors of oil, industry, petrochemicals, electricity, minerals, trade and banks, a statement by the prime minister's office said.
Abadi underlined importance of expanding cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Al-Faleh said Saudi companies were ready to invest in Iraq, and the Saudi market was eager to receive Iraqi products.
The Saudi minister arrived in Iraqi earlier today on an official visit in order to discuss with officials the extension of OPEC output cut. (pickup previous) ahh.bs
