KUWAIT, May 5 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil was down 76 cents standing at USD 46.60 per barrel on Thursday (yesterday) compared to USD 47.36 pb on Wednesday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said Friday.
Globally, oil prices were down last night, the lowest in five months, despite increase of US crude oil production and the number of oil drilling stations, launched in the past 11 months.
The price of Brent crude went down USD 2.41 to stand at USD 48.38 pb. The US crude oil declined USD 2.30 and stood at USD 45.52 pb. (end) asj.mb
