Kuwait wins Int'l Ice Hockey Challenge Cup of Asia Dvision

KUWAIT, April 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait national Ice Hockey team beat Oman 13-0 Tuesday and won the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Challenge Cup of Asia Division I.
The Kuwaitis scored 10 goals in the first and second quarters, five goals each, and the rest were scored in the third quarter.
India came third after beating Macau 7-3.
President of the Kuwaiti Winter Games Club Fheid Al-Ajmi, speaking to reporters after the award ceremony, commended the players for their victory and the performance they have shown throughout the championship. (end) fsa.bs
