Kuwait's top judge arrives in Bahrain for GCC meeting

MANAMA, April 25 (KUNA) -- Chairman of Kuwait's Supreme Judicial Council, Chief Justice Yusuf Al-Mutaw'a arrived in Manama on Tuesday to participate in a meeting of chief Justices of supreme courts and courts of cassations in GCC.
The top judges, who will meet tomorrow, will be discussing a strategy for the supreme courts and Cours of Cassations, as well as preparing succession for the two courts.
They will also discuss a unified system for the supreme and cassation courts.
Al-Mutaw'a, also chairman of the Court of Cassation and Constitutional Court, was received at the airport by Chief Justice Salem Al-Kawari, chairman of the Bahraini Supreme Judicial Council, and Kuwait's Ambassador in Manama Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah. (end) mge.bs
