WASHINGTON, April 25 (KUNA) -- The US-led coalition against the so-called Islamic State (IS) launched 35 air strikes consisting of 78 engagements in Syria and Iraq Monday, the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) reported Tuesday.
It indicated in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 19 strikes consisting of 24 engagements.
In Iraq, coalition military forces conducted 16 strikes consisting of 54 engagements against IS targets near Mosul and near Tal Afar, the report said. (end)
