ISLAMABAD, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Security forces Wednesday killed more than 15
militants and wounded about 20 others in an operation in Orakzai tribal
agency, bordering Afghanistan, said officials.
Military gunship helicopters pounded suspected militants hideouts in three
different areas of Upper Orakzai tribal agency, security officials told KUNA.
They said more than 15 militants were killed, 20 were wounded and about
three suspected militant compounds were destroyed.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, two soldiers were wounded in a landmine
explosion in Mohmand tribal agency. (end)
