ISLAMABAD, Nov 1 (KUNA) -- At least eight people were killed and three
others wounded in a US missile strike on Monday in Pakistani tribal region of
Waziristan, said officials.
About three missiles were fired at a suspected hideout in Haider Khel
village of Mir Ali district in North Waziristan tribal agency, bordering
Afghanistan, security officials told KUNA.
They said the strike killed eight militants and wounded about three others.
According to tribal sources, the killed and the wounded are suspected
militants of foreign origin. (end)
