KUWAIT, Nov 12 (KUNA) -- 1962 -- The Amir, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, issues elections law number 35 for the year 1962.
1964 -- The Amir, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, issues an Amiri Decree to monitor money transfers flowing out of the country.
1977 -- The Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, issues Decree by Law 131 to regulate the use of ionized beams, prohibiting the import, export, manufacture, transport, and disposal of radio active objects without permission from the Ministry of Health.
1997 -- The Amir, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, visits the headquarters of the Equate Petrochemical Company complex on the occasion of the first shipment of polyethylene.
1998 -- Kuwait's National Football Team wins the 14th Gulf Soccer Championship held in Bahrain.
1999 -- Kuwait's Olympic Football Team qualifies for the Sydney 2000 Games after defeating Qatar 2-1 and collecting nine points.
2002 -- Al-Watan publication house issues an Arabic version of the American magazine "Foreign Policy" for distribution in the Arab world.
2006 -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issues Amiri Decree 339 for 2006 on the transfer of the IT department of the Ministry of Planning to the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT).
2006 -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, issues Amiri Decree 341 for 2006 appointing Musaed Mahmoud Al-Asousi Director General of the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI).
2008 -- The National Assembly rejects a proposed law regulating the construction of diwaniyas.
