ALGIERS, Dec 29 (KUNA) -- Visiting Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad
Al-Maliki sounded the alarm here Thursday about the serious situation in the
occupied city of Jerusalem due to Israeli Judaization.
Speaking at a joint news conference with Algerian Foreign Minister Murad
Madlasi, he said the situation in Jerusalem is so serious that Arab and Muslim
summit conferences should be held.
"Israeli authorities are seeking to fully Judaize the holy city (Jerusalem)
and to cancel its Islamic and Christian features as well as to impose new
realities on the ground," he said.
He unveiled an Israeli plan to complete the Judaization of Jerusalem and to
force the largest possible number of Muslims and Christians out of the city by
the year 2020.
On inter-Palestinian reconciliation, the Palestinian foreign minister said
fervent efforts are being exerted in order to finish the file of
reconciliation among all Palestinian factions as soon as possible. (end)
