CAIRO, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- Iran is developing a peaceful nuclear program that
steers away from nuclear armament, said Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad
Monday.
In an interview with Al-Akhbar Egyptian news daily, Ahmedinejad denied
Israeli allegations in regards to Tehran's nuclear arsenal, stressing that
Iran has no such weapons in disposable.
He said that Israel, which is calling for a military campaign against Iran,
has a nuclear arsenal that amounted to 300 nuclear warheads.
Iran has the ability to develop itself within a peaceful manner and such
step caused Israel and the West, namely the US, a great deal of concern,
pointed out the Iranian President.
Ahmedinejad also touched on Egyptian-Iranian relations, stressing that
boosting this ties was beneficial for both countries. (end)
