KUWAIT, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh
Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah received on Thursday in his office and in the
presence of the Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ambassador Khaled Suleiman
Al-Jarallah former ambassadors, directors of departments, employees and staff
of the ministry, where they offered him congratulations on assuming his new
post.
In this regard, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid praised outgoing Foreign Minister
Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah for his great efforts both in
terms in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or with respect to relations of
Kuwait with world countries.
He added that he was certain that Sheikh Dr. Mohammad will remain faithful
to the ministry and Kuwait.
He also spoke about the prospective "Future Forum", which will be hosted by
Kuwait next November with the participation of foreign ministers of European
countries and the Group of Eight as well as many representatives of civil
society organizations.
He expressed in this regard his great satisfaction for the ongoing
preparations for this forum, hoping it would achieve it objectives. (end).
