KUWAIT, Oct 26 (KUNA) -- Arab states have the resources and potentials that enable them to compete with advanced nations in the media sector, said Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Sabah on Wednesday.
Sheikh Mubarak made the statement during a meeting with the outgoing media advisor of the Egyptian embassy, Mu'taz Amin. Talks during the meeting dealt with means of boosting cooperation among the Arab media authorities and institutions.
The chairman of the national news agency emphasized, during the meeting, that the Arab media organizations should cooperate for serving common objectives and be abreast of rapid developments at this level.
He also praised the fruitful and constructive cooperation between Kuwait and Egypt in various sectors, namely the media.
For his part, Amin praised role of KUNA for boosting the Arab media and playing a noticeable role for enhancing the cooperation among the Arab media authorities.
