Kuwaiti parliament selects permanent, short-term cmtes

KUWAIT, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's National Assembly organised its permanent and short-term committees on Tuesday for its newly-inaugurated fourth session of the 13th legislative term.
Female MPs Masouma Al-Mubarak and Rola Dashti in addition to Hassan Jawhar won the uncontested membership of the proposed 'responding committee to HH the Amir's speech'.
The parliament also opted to choose Khaled Al-Adwa, Ghanim Al-Lami, Saad Zenaifer and Hussain Mazyad for the 'petitions and complaints committee'.
MPs Saad Al-Khanfour, Askar Al-Enezi, Delaihi Al-Hajeri, Mohammad Al-Huwaila and Adnan Al-Mutawa were chosen for the 'interior and defence affairs committee'.
Yousif Al-Zalzala, Marzoug Al-Ghanim, Faisal Al-Duwaisan, Khalaf Demaitheer, Mikhled Al-Azmi, Adnan Al-Mutawa and Mubarak Al-Kherainij for the 'economy and finance committee'.
The 'legislative and legal affairs committee' includes Masouma Al-Mubarak, Khaled Al-Adwa, Faisal Al-Duwaisan, Hussain Al-Heraiti and Sadoun Hammad.
For the 'education, culture and guidance affairs committee, the parliament opted for Mohammad Al-Huwaila, Salwa Al-Jassar, Hasan Jawhar, Asil Al-Awadhi and Saleh Al-Mulla.
For 'health, social and labour affairs', Saleh Ashour, Saad Al-Khanfour, Asil Al-Awadhi, Rola Dashti, Saad Zenaifer.
For 'foreign affairs', Mubarak Al-Kherainij, Ali Al-Omair, Masouma Al-Mubarak, Saleh Ashour, Ghanim Al-Lami.
For the 'public utilities committee', Mikhled Al-Azmi, Hussain Mazyad, Ali Al-Omair, Delaihi Al-Hajeri.
For the 'budget management committee', Adel Al-Sarawi, Adnan Abdulsamed, Saleh Al-Mulla, Rola Dashti, Marzoug Al-Ghanim, Askar Al-Enezi and Yousif Al-Zalzala.
For the 'protection of public funds committee', Salwa Al-Jassar, Delaihi Al-Hajeri, Sadoun Hammad and Khalaf Demaitheer.
The National Assembly also approved proposals for a number of short-term committees, including the 'environmental and nuclear energy committee', the 'human rights committee', and the 'women and family affairs committee'. (end) ms.sd KUNA 251613 Oct 11NNNN
