KUWAIT, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah signed a decree Saturday to name Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister.
Sheikh Sabah received Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah at Dar Salwa earlier today with attendance of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah was sworn in as Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister.
His Highness the Amir congratulated the new minister, wishing him success in his mission to serving the country.
Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah commended the new foreign minister, and said he was keen on serving Kuwait in regional and international meetings.
The official reception ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister for Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, State Minister for Cabinet affairs Ali Al-Rashed, Secretary General of the Cabinet Abullatif Abdullah Al-Roudhan, Director of HH the Amir's Office Ahmad Al-Fahad, and head of Amiri Department of Protocols and Ceremonies Sheikh Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.
