KUWAIT, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Latest edition of the National Guard magazine
covers visit of His Highness the Amir to the guard headquarters and extensive
reporting about the force activities and tasks.
Colonel Mohammad Ferhan Al-Ferhan, the director of the morale guidance
directorate, the chief editor of the magazine, praised the visit by HH Sheikh
Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the base of the squad as inspirational in
terms of boosting the guards' faithfulness to the homeland.
His Highness, during the visit to the Guard headquarters, called for
vigilance and preparedness vis a vis regional turbulent conditions and praised
the role of the force for protecting the homeland, Col. Al-Ferhan wrote.
"Confidence accorded by His Highness the Amir to the Guard personnel should
prompt us to honor the vows we have made to protect the soil of the homeland
and protect it against external greedy enemies," the Colonel said.
For his part, the Managing Editor of the magazine, Major Jedaan Fadhel
Jedaan, shed light on HH Amir's speech that marked the last ten days of
Ramadan, when His Highness urged the citizens to unite for serving and
protecting the homeland. (end)
