CAIRO, Oct 16 (KUNA) -- Arab foreign ministers are expected to discuss the
situation in Syria at an Arab League meeting in Cairo on Sunday evening.
Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad
Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah will attend the meeting to be led by Qatari Deputy
Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem Al Thani.
The emergency meeting comes upon request from the six Gulf Cooperation
Council (GCC) member states through the UAE, which holds the current rotating
GCC presidency. (end)
