ABU DHABI, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- The Arab Trade Financing Program (ATFP) approved USD 287 million in the second quarter this year to finance trade agreements in the Arab countries.
The Abu Dhabi-based ATFP said, in a statement Sunday, the financing were in response to 68 requests by the Arab countries.
It said it funded projects in Arab countries with USD 8.5 billion since its establishment in 1991.
During its meeting in the second quarter, it said in a statement, the ATFP board members discussed trade services offered for exporters and importers, as well as other activities of the Program. (end) bmj.bs KUNA 181959 Sep 11NNNN
