Lebanon, Israel put forces on alert in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Sept 13 (KUNA) -- The Lebanese Army was on alert, as well as the Israeli forces, in southern Lebanese after the Israelis set up a watch station close to the boarders, local security reports said.
The borders region was put on state of alert on both sides, after Israeli forces set up a watch station in front of Fatime border crossing, local media added.
A patrol by the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) was dispatched to the scene to calm the situation.(end) ah.lb KUNA 131346 Sep 11NNNN
