NATO strikes military targets near Sirte, Bani Walid

BRUSSELS, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- NATO warplanes in the last 24 hours hit and destroyed a number of military targets of pro-Gaddafi forces near several Libyan towns.
The Alliance in a statement Saturday said in the vicinity of Sirte, its planes destroyed one surface-to-surface missile facility, a multiple-barrled rocket launcher, one armed vehicle. In the vicinity of Baniwalid, one armed vehicle was also hit and destroyed.
Moreover, the Alliance reported direct hits on targets in the vicinity of Hun -- one command and control node, a military facility close to Al Jufrah and one tank near Sebha.
