Former No. 2 man of Libyan regime flees to Europe -- source

GENEVA, Aug 20 (KUNA) -- Abdul Salam Jalloud, who had long served as the number-two man in the regime of Col. Moammar Al-Gadhafi, has defected to Europe, a reliable source said on Saturday.
The "well-informed source" told KUNA that Jalloud fled Libya, along with 13 members of his family, and arrived at a European capital.
He is expected to address the Libyan people soon, the source said.
Jalloud had been in the ruling alongside Gadhafi since the seizure of power in Libya.
