Sudan sign USD 40 mln deal with Japanese fund to develop agriculture

KHARTOUM, July 26 (KUNA) -- The Sudanese government signed an agreement worth USD 40 million with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), to develop agricultural projects.
The independent Japanese governmental agency will draw up a plan for the development of irrigation systems in several regions of the Nile district, north of the capital, Khartoum.
