GAZA, July 21 (KUNA) -- Ezzedeen Al-Qassam, the military wing of Hamas
movement, mourned the death of one of its fighters earlier Thursday, following
the collapse of a tunnel in Gaza Strip.
Qassam member Mohammed Reziq Junaid, 25, from Jabaliya Refugee Camp north
of Gaza Strip was killed following the collapse of a tunnel used by Hamas, the
brigades' website said. The brigades will continue to dig tunnels, train
fighters, and supply them with weapons, it said.
Israeli reports indicated that Hamas is digging tunnels on the boarders
between Israel and the Strip in order to use them for launching attacks on
targets inside Israel.
Hamas also dug tunnels under Gaza towns and camps to be used in any future
confrontation with the Israeli Army, the reports added.(end)
