BAGHDAD, June 24 (KUNA) -- Security authorities slam capital city, Baghdad,
with a partial curfew that will take effect as of tomorrow morning, Baghdad
opeations command said Friday.
It said in a statement the curfew would include motorbikes and bikes as of
6:00 am, and until further notice.
All vehicles are banned from entering Al-Kadhmiya area in Baghdad as well,
it said.
The curfew is imposed at a time Shiites are pouring into Al-Kadhmiya to
commemorate the passing away of Imam Moussa Al-Kadhem, due to fall next
Tuesday.
Security forces have been deployed in roads used by the Shiite visitors.
