BAGHDAD, May 22 (KUNA) -- Eight Iraqis were wounded Sunday in two separate
bomb attacks in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
A security source told KUNA that a bomb was exploded in a mini-bus in
Al-Mechanic neighborhood, southern Baghdad, leaving five civilians injured.
Following the explosion, the victims were rushed to nearby hospitals and
police cordoned off the incident scene and started investigations about its
circumstances and those who stand behind.
Another blast targeted army personnel in Abu Ghuraib neighborhood, western
Baghdad, leaving three soldiers injured, the security source said. (end)
