BAGHDAD, May 20 (KUNA) -- Masked gunmen killed an Iraqi forensics officer
on a highway located on the southwest region of the capital, said a security
source on Friday.
The source told KUNA that the gunmen shot the victim and then escaped to
unknown location.
On another account, the Iraqi police noted that two army intelligence
officers were injured during an armed assault on their vehicle in Baghdad's
Green Zone, adding that two officers were sent to Yarmouk hospital for
treatment.
An official investigation on the incident was launched to determine who was
behind the act. (end)
