Algerian court sentences three drug traffickers for life imprisonment

ALGIERS, April 3 (KUNA) -- A criminal court in the city of Oran, western Algeria, sentenced three drug traffickers for life imprisonment Sunday.
The case dates back to August 2009, when police raided a private home in Al-Sediqiah district, eastern Oran city, and founded 1,100 Kgs of cannabis.
The preliminary investigations led to the arrest of the three suspects pending investigations.
After completing their work, the investigators revealed a cross-border dimension to the case. Investigators found out that the arrested traffickers have connection with a gang in Morocco. (end) ft.ibi KUNA 032154 Apr 11NNNN
