SANAA, March 11 (KUNA) -- Four soldiers were killed in an offensive
launched by Al-Qaeda outfit against a police checkpoint at the entrance of
Hajreen historical city of Daw'an of Hadhramaut governorate, east of Yemen, a
security source said here Friday.
The source told 26th of September website, a mouthpiece of Yemeni Ministry
of Defense, that terror elements assailed the checkpoint, noting that a
security dragnet has been recently cast to track down the culprits and bring
them to justice.
Further, four soldiers and one officer were killed four days ago in an
attack targeting a military vehicle that was transporting food supplies to a
camp in Mar'ib governorate, northeastern of Yemen. (end)
