BAGHDAD, Feb 5 (KUNA) -- Fourteen people were killed or injured Saturday
from two separate bombings in Salah Ad-Din governorate, north of Baghdad, that
targetted religious shrines visited by foreign pilgrims.
A source from the police said that an implanted explosive charge exploded
near to a gathering of pilgrims who came to visit a shrine at Balad city of
Salah Ad-Adin governorate in what caused the death of two people and injury of
three others.
Further, nine people including Pakistani and four Iranians were wounded in
a similar explosion that took place in Samarra city that comprises religious
shrines. (end)
