Three killed, five wounded in suicide explosion in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- Three Iraqi civilians were killed and five others were wounded in a suicide explosion in Ramadi, capital of Anbar province, Iraqi police said on Monday.
A security source told KUNA that the suicide bomber blew his explosive-laden vehicle in Ramadi city targeting Al-Anbar governor Qassim Mohammad Abdu.
The governer survived the explosion, however, three civilian were killed and five others were injured, the source noted.
