KUWAIT, Jan 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti dinar was down KD 0.281 against the US
dollar, while the euro's exchange rate increased to KD 0.364.
The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) said on its website on Tuesday, that the
rate of the national currency settled at KD 0.438 against the sterling, KD 0.
003 against the yen, and witnessed a drop against the Swiss franc after
scoring KD 0.290.
Globally, dollar exchange rate experienced a drop after the hike it saw
recently, while the European debt crisis still overshadows the market.
European Central Bank announced that it started buying Portuguese bonds to
support the debt-swamped Portugal which was being pressured by European
countries such as France and Germany. (end)
