BAGHDAD, Sept 8 (KUNA) -- Authorities in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, placed
a curfew on motorcycle-goers until further notice on Wednesday, to protect
people from the danger of terrorist attacks.
"The decision began on 10:00 (Baghdad time) this morning," Head of Baghdad
Operations, Qassim Atta told KUNA.
The procedure was taken amid a national holiday for government employees,
beginning on Thursday up until Monday.
A number of commercial roads have also been closed in protection of
residents from the dangers of possible attacks during the festive occasion.
