Al-Midan dual attack resulted in 12 fatalities, including executers -- command

 BAGHDAD, Sept 5 (KUNA) -- The dual attack that rattled al-Midan area in central Baghdad earlier today was executed by five suicide bombers and so far resulted in killing 12 people, the capital's command said Sunday.
The perpetrators; who also died in the attack, managed to approach the backdoor of the defense ministry's old building before engaging with security that succeeded in eliminating them all, the command said in a statement.
The operation also resulted in the death of seven Iraqis who happened to be caught in-between shoot-out, while 29 others were injured, it added. (pickup previous) ahh.hb KUNA 051520 Sep 10NNNN
