SANAA, Aug 18 (KUNA) -- At least two people were killed and 15 others were
injured in a explosion believed to have resulted from remnants of bombs of the
air raid that targetted the community of Al-Ma'jalah in the Abyan area south
of Yemen last december, which killed at least 40 people.
The explosion, which occured on Tuesday, took place in an area 5 kilometers
from Al-Ma'jalah, said local sources to KUNA on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, suspected militants attacked on Tuesday the Yemen government
center, as well as several military bases in the Maareb province.
Also, suspected Al-Qaeda militants killed one officer and injured another
in two separate attacks south of Yemen on Tuesday, said local source to KUNA.
