IRBIL, Aug 15 (KUNA) -- An Iraqi army soldier was killed and another was
injured in an explosion in Mosul on Sunday, while an army forces captured nine
wanted people in the northern Iraqi city, an Iraqi police source said.
He said in press remarks unknown gunmen opened fire at an Iraqi army check
point in the northest of Mosul killing a serviceman and injuring another.
Meanwhile, an army forces arrested nine wanted persons and seized weapons
and ammunition. (end)
