BAGHDAD, Aug 15 (KUNA) -- Four Iraqi civilians were killed and at least 17
people were injured in a series of explosions in Baghdad on Sunday.
Iraqi police sources told KUNA, that the first explosion was a sticky bomb
attached to a minibus. It went off near the ministry of transportation in
eastern Baghdad, killing three passengers and injuring 11 others, police said.
Three more bombs exploded at a commercial district in central Baghdad,
killing one civilian and wounding three others, police said. The improvised
explosive devices exploded within a few minutes in three different locations.
In another attack, three officers were injured when a roadside bomb hit an
Iraqi police patrol in eastern Baghdad. (end)
