ISTANBUL, July 27 (KUNA) -- Unidentified militants opened fire at a car
carrying Turkish policemen, killing three of them and injuring another
seriously in southeast Turkey.
Today's Zaman newspaper quoted security sources as saying that the
militants attacked the policemen in Dortyol district, in the south eastern
province of Hatay.
Authorities accuse members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) of the
attack, the paper reported.
The outlawed PKK increased its attacks against Turkish forces in the past
few weeks. (end)
