Fire contained at paper press factory

KUWAIT, July 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Fire Services Directorate put down a fire at a paper press factory in Ahmadi's industrial zone on Saturday.
The fire was contained at the factory containing 500 tons of cupboard occupying 1,000 square meters, Director of Public Relations and Media Department Colonel Khalil Al-Amir said.
He added that four fire centers participated in putting down the fire.
The directorate started investigating the incident, he said, while calling on those concerned to take safety precautions and provide fire extinguishers.
