ISLAMABAD, July 15 (KUNA) -- At least six people were killed and more than
forty-five were wounded in a suicide blast Thursday afternoon in a Pakistani
northern town, said police.
A suicide bomber blew himself up near a bus station as a security convoy
passed by, said Imran Qureshi, District Coordinating Officer (DCO), while
talking to newsmen.
He said the bombers target was the security convoy. The DCO confirmed four
casualties and said that about twenty-five others including seven children and
two women were wounded.
However, police and hospital sources confirmed six casualties and said
about 45 wounded have been admitted in different hospitals. (pick up previous)
