IRBIL, July 11 (KUNA) -- Unknown armed men detonated with explosives the
house of Suleiman Pek, Governor in Doz area south of Kirkuk on Sunday.
A police source in Kirkuk told KUNA that armed men planted the explosives
with various improvised bombs surrounding the house of Taleb Mohammed Mustapha
and remotely detonated them.
The explosion caused heavy damage to the house, however the governor and
his family were not hurt in the attack, the source added. (end)
