BAGHDAD, June 19 (KUNA) -- Two Iraqis were killed and 14 others injured in
three blasts that rocked Al-Hurriya area western Baghdad, while bodies of six
women were found eastern the capital, police said on Saturday.
The two killed, plus the injured, were a result of three blasts that
sequentially went off at Al-Iyadat Street in Al-Hurriya, an Iraqi police
source told KUNA.
The street was sealed off and the casualties were rushed to Al-Kadhemiya
Hospital, the source added.
Meanwhile, security sources at the interior ministry said "naked" bodies of
six women were found at a house in Zayouna area.
The bodies were decomposed, which indicated that the killings took place
several days ago, the sources added.
Police launched an investigation to determine whether the killings were a
result of murder or of a terrorist act. (end)
