ISTANBUL, May 31 (KUNA) -- Hundreds of Turks staged a protest on Monday at
the Israeli Consulate here, to express condemnation of the Israeli attack in
international waters on the 'Freedom Flotilla' convoy, carrying aid to Gaza
Strip.
NTV news network, on its website, reported that some Turkish protesting
tried to break into the consulate, while others threw stones at the building
and chanted anti-Israeli slogans.
Turkish police prevented the protestors from entering the consulate, where
protestors had gathered since last night. (end)
