ISLAMABAD, May 29 (KUNA) -- A loud explosion was heard on Saturday in a
northern Pakistani district, causing property damage but no human loss, said
police.
A bomb exploded near Gird Station in Dera Ismail Khan district in
Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa province. Police sources told KUNA that the explosion
caused damage to the outer wall of the station building but no loss of life
was reported.
However, they said further, police recovered a twenty-kilogram time-bomb
about a kilometer away from the explosion site and successfully defused it.
