CAIRO, April 24 (KUNA) -- Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa discussed with Turkish Ambassador to Egypt Hussein Bo Tasali bilateral cooperation.
Cheif of Staff at the Secretary General's Office Ambassador Hesham Youssef told the press on Saturday that Moussa and Tasali discussed issues of mutual interest.
Moussa will visit Turkey within efforts to activate the Arab-Turkish Forum that will take place in Turkey June.
On Moussa's Association of Arab neighbors proposal, Youssef said that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had expressed support for this proposal during the Arab Summit in Sirt, Libya, last month.
On the other hand, Moussa received South African Deputy Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ibrahim and discussed several regional and international issues of mutual interest, especially middle east peace process.
Ibrahim said after the meeting, Israel is acting similarly to internal resistance to the apartheid system in South Africa, where he adviced Palestinians to unite and to work together to pass forward the peace initiative in the middle east.
